These plantlets readily drop and root, allowing the plant to spread quickly in suitable conditions. A hybrid between Kalanchoe daigremontiana and Kalanchoe delagoensis, this variety inherits the best traits of both parents: hardiness, drought tolerance, and striking form. Kalanchoe houghtonii 'Alligator Plant' prefers bright, indirect sunlight and well-draining soil, making it an excellent choice for container gardens or as a houseplant with minimal care needs.
